"Why you have to go there for this simple shit! You can do that here too!"

Then comes your GF, yeah your Girlfriend.
Just try this, say her that your Dad is suffering from some medical ailment, and its not been properly diagnosed. So you dont know what is it and you are really anxious.
For the next few moments she will talk to ya about this, maybe till the next day.
Let that topic go for a week.
Then showcase a comeback with an abrupt reason like, "I went to the clinic...That's why couldn't come online"
She will say,"Why? What happened?"
You say, "No, its bout my Dad!"
She: "What happened to him....!!!!!" :p :p :p
